The news channels and newspapers are all gearing up for the 26/11 memorial (sorry i can not call it an anniversary) and with the neighbouring country going to the dogs literally with terror attacks taking place at alarming regularity in cities as well as smaller towns (something we should be very afraid about), one cannot but feel helpless in front of young boys, girls, men and women are completely brainwashed to kill so many innocent people. The promise of achieving ‘Shahadat’ after a suicide bomber has blown him/herself to smithereens, seems like stupidity to us but its a big internal motivator for these terrorists.

Walking along chor bazaar one day i came across these ladders placed along a shop with the mosque in the background. Only one song came to my mind :

“There’s a lady who’s sure

It still boggles me how one is willing to kill oneself and thousands of innocents on the verbal commitment – of a place in heaven – from a living being.
